Necessary tools

 

In order to be able to install firmware, the following tools are required:

• Personal computer with MS Windows
• Network cable to connect the Valuejet wit the pc
• The latest MSA-tool (Mutoh Service Assistance) or MSM-tool (Mutoh Status Monitor)

 

Detailed instructions how to install the firmware, are described in the maintenance manual.

We are releasing a new firmware, which is compatible with both RJ-900X and RJ-900XG models.

The new firmware allows entering the head rank and serial number for both printer models.

 

The release of firmware v1.02 for RJ-900X/901X printers now offers our installed base customers this same opportunity.

• Diagnostic menu: add the digit number selection menu to the head rank menu.
  • digit number: 40 ==> DF-49029
  • digit number: 24 ==> DF-49684
• Diagnostic menu: serial numbers starting with HB4O can be entered.
