There are currently some running changes in the process on the Mutoh XPJ-16xxSR models. These changes will gradually come into effect in two separate phases.
Phase 1
The first phase of changes will be starting from the following model serial numbers:

Changes
1. A noise filter is added in the board box
Reason: the filter reduces EM interference
Note: this new noise filter cannot be installed on the printer produced before the above mentioned serial numbers

2. Cosmetic changes
- Board box: revised painting
- Different front cover
3. Configuration change
To improve logistics, the ink cases are included inside the printer's box
4. New spare parts
- Introduction of a new pump type

Compatibility
The incompatibility is due to the different diameters of the iron cores.
A spring is set in the new , so it can be used in old machines.
- Junction 2 board
The boards installed in the factory in the targeted printers and the boards supplied as spare part boards have some minor differences. A few unused connectors were eliminated but both boards are 100% compatible and can be installed without any problems.

The second phase of changes will be starting from the following model serial numbers:
