The tube connection on the waste bottle has been changed. Depending of used ink-type, old inks may slowly accumulate on the connection part of the waste liquid bottle over longer period. When it hardens and it is not properly maintained, it may narrow the channel and the inside of the tube may become blocked over longer period.
The tube connection has been changed to prevent inks slowly accumulating on this nipple.
The change is applicable for as well ValueJet- as ExpertJet series.
The part-number has not been changed so you can still order the same one, which is:
DG-43501 - "Waste Fluid Bottle A Blow mold Assy"
On this new revision, you may notice that the nipple is different. But it is 100% compatible with existing tubings in the field.
The new waste bottle revision will also be included starting on newer units from the following serial numbers (~ and higher)
