The following attached document in this article contains an overview of the recommended print modes for:
- XpertJet XPJ-1641SR
- XpertJet XPJ-1682SR
The document contains the header-information, recommended rip- & header-settings and its resulting speed per print mode.
| Note: Please note that when using XpertJet and ValueJet printers in combination with UMS inks, it is strongly recommended to use "Middle dot" family also called VSD3. When using ECO inks only, the usage of the "Small dot" family (VSD4) allowed. Furthermore for sharp output, it's also strongly recommended to use the slow carriage speed setting (320cps) |
The mentioned print mode settings in this chart are also applicable (and even strongly recommended) to be used for the following ValueJet series as well loaded with UMS inks:
- ValueJet VJ-1324(x)
- ValueJet VJ-1624(x)
- ValueJet VJ-1638(x)
- ValueJet VJ-2638(x)
In order to be able to use the latest features and print modes, make sure to:
- Use the latest printer driver for your respective rip software
- The printer is running the latest firmware version
