The position of the obstacle sensor on the XPJ-661UF has been changed to a location which is less sensitive to interference.
As a result of this shift, less obstacle sensor errors should occur and the laser will be less vulnerable to accidental misalignments.
This change has been introduced as of following serial number: JM2U001001 and higher.

Note: a special tool is required to adjust the sensor position in the field.
There is no interchangeability between current and new tools.
All tooling partnumbers can be found on our dedicated tooling partnumber list
Current tool partnumber for units with SN JM2U001000 and lower: DH-40047.
New tool partnumber for units with SN JM2U001001 and higher: DH-41096.

Adjustment procedure:

Rotary unit:
The only difference between the old and new rotary unit is the detector plate.
Depending on the serial number following rotary unit should be ordered:
For units with SN JM2U001000 and lower: IJ-RTU-01
For units with SN JM2U001001 and higher: IJ-RTU-02
In case you would have an old rotary unit and you wish to use this one on a new XPJ-661UF you can always order the detection plate separately: IJ-RTUDP-02
