There are currently some running changes in the process on the Mutoh XPJ-16xxSR models.  These changes will gradually come into effect in two separate phases.

Phase 1

The first phase of changes will be starting from the following model serial numbers:

Changes

1. A noise filter is added in the board box

Reason: the filter reduces EM interference

Note: this new noise filter cannot be installed on the printer produced before the above mentioned serial numbers

2. Cosmetic changes

3. Configuration change

To improve logistics, the ink cases are included inside the printer's box

4. New spare parts

1. Introduction of a new pump type

2. Introduction of a new wiper solenoid
   
   
   Compatibility

   The incompatibility is due to the different diameters of the iron cores. A spring is set in the new , so it can be used in old machines.

   
   
3. Junction 2 board
   
   The boards installed in the factory in the targeted printers and the boards supplied as spare part boards have some minor differences. A few unused connectors were eliminated but both boards are 100% compatible and can be installed without any problems.

The second phase of changes will be starting from the following model serial numbers:

1. Introduction of new pressure rollers with fluorine coating

These new pressure rollers have improved durability and chemical resistance
