1.03
1:[Fixed] When entering the ink expiration date on the S/C card for ASP, the message "Please enter the ink expiration date on the panel" is not displayed in the MSM status information.
2:[Fixed] When printing with only the user definition changed in the VerteLith printer options, the following issues occur:
- The media thickness setting remains the same as before the user definition change.
- The drying fan duty cycle is set to 0%, and the drying fan does not operate.
3:[Fixed] If a heater temperature different from the panel setting is printed using VerteLith, when the Home key is tapped to check the temperature status and various heater temperatures, the temperature set on the panel is displayed, and the temperature specified in VerteLith may not be reflected.
4:[Fixed] Nozzles are prone to missing when printing large dots.
5:[Fixed] If Output Mode is "Take up" and the drying fan duty is not 100% in VerteLith, printing will start before the drying fan reaches the specified duty.
6:[Fixed] When printing from VerteLith, if an error that prevents printing, such as "Cover Open," occurs immediately after receiving data (panel is "Print Ready") or while receiving data (panel is "Receiving"), printing will not start even after the error is resolved, and the panel will remain in "Receiving".
7:[Fixed] When printing data created with Fiery's RIP, missing dots and misaligned printing of specific colors occur.
8:[Changed] Disable receiving data from Port 9100.

9:[Changed] In the specifications, some unsupported PM commands were functioning. If an unsupported PM command is received, an error will be displayed and printing will be canceled.
Release date: 24 April 2025
1.02
** Make sure when updating to F/W Ver1.02 or higher to use MSA tool Ver.6.0.4 or higher.
1:[Fixed] After data is sent from VerteLith, if it is canceled from the panel before printing begins, the panel display will not return to "Canceling".
2:[Fixed] When the UV lamp reaches the end of its life, the UV lamp life information is not displayed on the MSM status display.
3:[Fixed] When M dots and S dots are set in Self-diagnosis > Update > Dot Control, abnormal jetting occurs during printing.
4:[Fixed] When initializing the mechanism after power on, the wiper initial operation was incorrect.
5:[Changed] When turning off the power on the panel, VerteLith may not receive the power off status, so the power off process has been changed. It now takes 6 seconds longer to power off than before.
6:[Changed] The spitting menu has been removed from the Setup menu because the printer is more susceptible to nozzle missing when the spitting settings are changed.
7:[Changed] If a system error occurs during printing in Output Mode "Tae Up", the take-up motor continues to rotate, or BoardManagerMode is started, the take-up motor continues to rotate regardless of the Output Mode setting. This has been changed so that the take-up motor does not rotate unnecessarily.
8:[Changed] When CR maintenance and daily maintenance are performed, if the wiper position is at the origin, the wiper origin detection is no longer performed.
9:[Changed] In response to a specification request from the OEM, if the warning buzzer setting is ON, the buzzer will not continue to sound in the following two cases:
-S/C ink near end
-The ink expiration date has passed (within 2 months)
10:[Added] It was pointed out that the margin between jobs when using the take-up device was too wide at 190mm, so a menu for pull back the media was added to "Output Mode>Take up". The default pull-back setting is off, and when changed to on, the take-up operation is stopped at a position that takes into account the pull-back operation during printing, and a backfeed is performed after printing is completed to shorten the distance between jobs to 10mm.
11:[Added] AQUAFUZE ink has expiration date information written into the S/C chip, and the printer will not be able to print after the expiration date. Since the S/C card for ASP does not have expiration date information, you can use the ink by entering the expiration date on the panel.
12:[Added] The lifetime of the take-up unit has been added. The lifetime has been set to 2000 hours, but no warning message will be displayed even if the lifetime is exceeded.
13:[Added] Added information to "Wiper sensor error is recorded in a log.", which was added in V1.01, to provide a hint as to the cause of the error.
14:[Added] An operation log is kept so that the user's usage status can be confirmed. Internal patterns in user mode, cleaning (including ink charge and ink discharge), maintenance operations, etc. are recorded.
Installed Ver 1.02 Serial number: HA-1642 : KR6U000039~
Release date: 27 January 2025
1.01
** Make sure when updating to F/W Ver1.01 or higher to use MSA tool Ver.6.0.4 or higher.
1:[Fixed] Following problems with ink expiration date processing.
- Even if an expired S/C card is removed, the expired message remains displayed on the panel.
- If an expired S/C card is inserted into a slot for a different color, it will be logged as an expired card for a different color.
- When printing using "Setup > User Type > Adjustment print", if an expired S/C card that cannot be printed is inserted, the cancel key will not work.
- If an expired S/C card is inserted, the printer will not be able to print even if a print command is issued. However, printing will resume if the S/C card is simply removed from that state.
2:[Fixed] Following problems with ink discharge processing.
- When the "Remove bag" message is displayed during ink discharge, if the cancel key is pressed, the printer will not print even though the ink has not been discharged.
- If the "Remove bag" message remains displayed for more than three minutes, the printer will not be able to return to the previous screen by pressing the cancel key.
- If an ink system error occurs while the "Remove bag" message is displayed, an error message will be displayed.
3:[Fixed] When printed with "Test Print > Setup list", the following items are incorrect.
- Head Height:Low1 => Head Height:Low
- Longstore => Ink Discharge
4:[Fixed] When printing with "User Type > Adjust Print", if the following error message appears, the Cancel key does not clear the message.
- [**]Chg. S/C Card
- [**]S/C Recog. E"
5:[Fixed] Ink expiration date was not checked during self-diagnosis mode.
6:[Fixed] The keys used for the ink discharge sequence were different from other menus. The valid keys are now the same as other menus.
7:[Fixed] Cleaning cannot be performed from the remote panel in some cases.
8:[Fixed] When printing from VerteLith, there is a big difference between the estimated printing time and the actual printing time.
9:[Fixed] There was an error in the item name of "Self-diagnosis > Parameter > Update > Head Voltage".
10:[Fixed] The following status information was not displayed correctly on the MSM.
- CR Maintenace during Ink charge
- During Sleep mode maintenance
- During Power off maintenance
- Roll near end, End of roll
11:[Fixed] There was a problem with the soak cleaning.
- When performing the soak cleaning process while a media error (e.g. no media) is displayed, the carriage moves to the left and then immediately returns to the cap-in position.
- When pressing Enter with the cleaning solution filled in to the cap, the soak time is entered after cap-in, but the process of sucking up the cleaning solution occurs when the cap is in. This means that the cleaning solution inside the cap is drained and the print head is not soaked.
- When entering the soak time, if the set time is not confirmed, the process does not move to the next step. At this time the cap is in a soaking state, but because the soaking time is not being counted, it is not recorded in the log.
12:[Fixed] The backlight of the control panel keys may flickers momentarily while the setting screen is displayed.
13:[Fixed] "E228 UV Fan Error 1" occurs when printing after waking up from sleep mode.
14:[Fixed] There were the following issues with CR maintenance:
- If "[**]No bag" displayed during CR maintenance, the carriage will not move to left side.
- When CR maintenance or soaking cleaning is completed, if the waste ink tank is full, the carriage does not return to the capping position.
- When the sleep mode is started and the "Unable to Enter to Sleep Mode" message is displayed due to some reason being unable to enter sleep mode, pressing the Enter key will no longer accept any key input.
15:[Fixed] When replacing heads with "Self-Diagnosis>Head Replace", the head shot count was not cleared correctly as follows:
- When replacing head 1: The count for the A-D nozzle line of head 1 was cleared, but the E-H nozzle line counts of head 1 was not cleared.
- When replacing head 2: The count for the E-H nozzle line of head 1 is cleared, but the A-D nozzle line counts of head 1 was not cleared.
- When replacing both heads 1 and 2: The count for the A-H nozzle line of head 1 is cleared, but the A-H nozzle line counts of head 2 was not cleared.
16:[Fixed] Ink expiration date information may not be recorded in the log.
17:[Fixed] In Setup > Advanced Settings > Origin, after the CR has moved to the origin position, open the cover while "Confirm Position End -> Enter" is displayed. The panel display will change to "Cover Open", but after 5 seconds all displays on the panel will disappear.
18:[Changed] When the expiration date of the ink (S/C card) currently being used is exceeded, the S/C card will record information that it cannot be used. The S/C card will be determined to be unusable regardless of the printer's RTC.
19:[Changed] Change the status display on MSM during soak cleaning from "Cleaning" to "Soak cleaning".
20:[Changed] The spitting position after scanning the pattern or barcode during automatic adjustment is changed from the spitting box to inside the cap.

23:[Changed] "Self-diagnosis > Inspection > Sensor > Wiper Sensor" makes it easier to check the status of the wiper sensor by automatically operating the wiper.
24:[Changed] "Self-diagnosis > Parameter > Update > Periodic cleaning" default setting changed to "Off".
25:[Changed] The "Cleaning type" menu has been removed from the sleep mode settings in order to reduce ink consumption.
Based on evaluation results showing that regular cleaning is not necessary during sleep mode and that spitting is sufficient, spitting will be performed according to the set cleaning timer.
26:[Changed] If no operation is performed for 3 minutes while the setting menu for the direct keys (cleaning, nozzle check print, media cut) is displayed on the main panel, the standby screen ("Print Ready") will automatically return.
27:[Changed] The setting range of the PM command drying fan (*DF) from 0-100% to 20-100%.
28:[Changed] The waveform was tuned to match the AQUAFUZE ink.
29:[Changed] After the UV lamp is turned off, CR maintenance is not permitted for 80 seconds because the UV lamp is too hot. If CR maintenance is performed within 80 seconds after the UV lamp is turned off, a message "Please wait..." will be displayed.
30:[Added] There was no menu to check the UV lamp life time.
- Added "UV lamp" item to "Menu5 System Info > Life Times"
- Added "UV lamp" item to "Test Print > Setup List"
- Display message when lifetime expires"
