Main FW v1.10

1:[Added] Add soak cleaning menu to user mode.

2:[Added] CR distance adjustment function
This function compensates for the expansion and contraction of the encoder scale due to environmental changes.
This function is enabled by printing with VerteLith.

3:[Added] Menu for display the remaining time until ink agiting and for executing agiting.
- When the ENTER key is pressed on the ""Ready Print"" screen, the remaining time until agitation of WH and KCMY inks is displayed as ""Until agitation"", and Ink agitating can also be performed immediately.

4:[Added] Using the printer in a temperature environment outside the guaranteed operating range may cause mechanical problems (the optical axis of the laser sensor may shift, reducing the accuracy of height detection) or physical problems (the ink may change quality or not curing).
To prevent and suppress such problems, a warning will be displayed on the main panel and on VerteLith and MSM if the printer temperature (temperature information for head 1) falls below 18C or exceeds 50C. If the printer temperature falls within the guaranteed operating range, these warnings will automatically disappear."

5:[Added] Before starting the ink circulation process, the solenoid valve will cycle on and off several times to prevent the solenoid valve from sticking.

6:[Fixed] During media setting processing, a "communication error" may occur on VerteLith.

7:[Fixed] If the initial charge is performed without turning off the power after longstore in self-diagnosis mode under the following conditions, the "ink type" recorded in the ink switching log will be recorded as "UH21 ink" regardless of the type of ink charged.
- "Ignore" or "Chip Trouble" is set in ACG.
- The ink type before head cleaning is "US61 ink".

8:[Fixed] If the printer stops at Ink end when starting up, the "Initializing" message remains, so it was impossible to tell that the ink end. The "No ink" error message will now be displayed.

9:[Fixed] Use VerteLith or MPS to send multiple print data at once.
If the ink cartridge agitation time occurs during printing, the current print will end normally but the next print may not start.

10:[Fixed] In the self-diagnosis mode, "Test > History > Print > PG", the number of printed pages was not saved in the history.

11:[Fixed] When "Chip Trouble" is set by ACG application, the ink type can be changed in the Self-diagnosis mode Parameter: Update: Ink type menu, but sometimes it is not possible to do so.

12:[Fixed] When Longstore is performed on a machine charged with "UH21 ink", the machine can be recharged with "UH21 ink", but cannot be recharged with "US61 ink".

13:[Fixed] When performing initial charging, if "UH21 ink" and "US61 ink" smart chips are inserted together, an ink error for the smart chip may not occur and initial charging may be performed.

14:[Changed] The threshold for temperature abnormality errors to prevent UV LED Temperature Error(E226/E230) from occurring frequently in low temperature environments.
The threshold at which the UV LED Temperature Error (E226/E230) occurs has been changed to around 0C to -19C.

15:[Changed] If the power was left on for 24 hours, backup parameters, including the "Printer Usage" log, were sometimes not recorded in memory. Backup parameters are now recorded in memory on a 24-hour cycle.

1:[Changed] UV lamp temperature monitoring is performed only when the UV lamp is on.

2:[Fixed] When printing in an environment below -10C where a UV-LED Temperature Error occurs, "UV-* LED FAN* Rotation Error" may be displayed instead of "UV-* LED Temperature Error."

1.[Fixed] E216 error occurs during UV lamp curing process using *US print manager command.

2.[Fixed] When changing the user type using the remote panel, the setting value displayed on the remote panel differs from that displayed on the printer panel.

3.[Fixed] Unintended character "P" is displayed on the panel in certain cases.

4.[Fixed] Even if the waste ink sensor reacts during "Ink discharge" in the self-diagnosis mode, the panel display does not change to "Full Waste Ink Tank".

9.[Fixed] When the smart chip terminal short circuit occurs due to the misalignment of the smart chip card attachment position on the ink cartridge, the chip recovery may not function and an I/C error may occur.
Fixed chip recovery to work even in such cases.

10.[Fixed] If the ink bag was not shaken for a long time there was a possibility of uneven density (variation in density) in the white US61 ink.
This was improved by reviewing the ink circulation process when coming out of sleep mode.

Less than 24 hours without agitation: added 2m30s

More than 72 hours without agitation: added 7m30s

This new cycle can be activated by switching in self-diagnosis mode "Parameter/Update/Circulation" from Type A to Type B.

11.[Fixed] If the "Submit to Print" button is pressed on VerteLith when there is no media in the printer, and then the print is "cancelled" from the panel, the printer will freeze with the "Cancelling" message displayed.
To recover, the printer must be restarted.

12.[Changed] If multiple sub-statuses (warning states) are registered in the printer, the display on the main unit panel will change at two-second intervals to display all sub-statuses.

13.[Changed] If the ink bag is removed without removing the large-capacity pack adapter while stirring the ink, the ink end detection flag will react and the ink is out flag will be set.
Only when the printer is in standby mode and not consuming ink, if the ink pack is removed, "Check ink" will be displayed to prompt the user to check the cartridge status

1:[Added] The MOT_LED_CONT board has been updated to Rev.E to prevents the issue where the UV lamp would not turn off even when the emergency stop button was pressed.
This firmware incorporates processing to control the Rev.E MOT_LED_CONT board. It can also control MOT_LED_CONT boards from revisions earlier than Rev.E.
*If old controller firmware is installed on MOT_LED_CONT board Rev.E, the UV lamp will not work.

Bug Fixes:

1:[Fixed] If the printer is left in the "Ready to Print" state for a long time, white ink may leak out of the machine.

2:[Fixed] Errors "E215" to "E217" may occur.
This could occur when auto cap-in or cleaning was performed during printing.

3:[Fixed] "No S/C card" error in self-diagnosis mode is incorrect.
- Incorrect slot number is displayed.
- This error is not displayed during cleaning.

4:[Fixed] After setting the media, when printing was started with the suction fan temporarily stopped using the foot switch, printing started with the suction fan stopped.
Fixed in v1.04 was not enough, so it was fixed again.

5:[Fixed] The chip recovery function did not work when performing ink charge after ink discharged.

6:[Fixed] "Media setting>Set Media" may not work properly.
- When tapping the Enter key on the "Length **mm" input screen, the message "Cannot change during detection" may be displayed.
- When tapping the Enter key on the "Origin PF/CR" display, the printer may freeze with "Moving to OriginPosition" displayed.

7:[Fixed] During daily maintenance, the speed at which the carriage returned to the maintenance position was incorrect.
The difference in speed is so slight that it would be impossible to tell on the machine.

8:[Fixed] Problems with the display of "Printer status>Job status"
1. When checking "Job status/Status" after printing, "Canceled" is displayed.
2. After printing data that includes a blank feed, "Job status/ToDoLength" displays a distance that is shorter than the actual printed length.
3. After printing data that does not include "height" information, "Job status/ToDoLength" becomes "0.7m".
These problems do not affect the print history count.

9:[Fixed] Incorrect print area calculation.
1. The "data length" when calculating the print area was calculated to be approximately 22 mm too long.
2. The print area was not counted when the print data had no "height information" and the gantry moved in the opposite(back to front) direction during printing.
3. The data had no "height" information and a 10 mm margin was subtracted from the "data length," resulting in a smaller print area.
There is no significant impact on the total print area calculation.

10:[Fixed] When printing in Draft mode (360x1080dpi), the number of printed pages was counted as groups with different data widths.
This does not affect the total print count.

11:[Fixed] A CPU error occurs when connecting to a PC with antivirus software (AVG AntiVirus) installed.

Changes:

12:[Changed] The contents of the error log for E215 to E217, which were added in Ver1.04.

13:[Changed] When using the high capacity ink pack adapter, the "Check Ink" message appears even if there is sufficient ink remaining in the ink pack.
The threshold at which the "Check Ink" message appears has been changed to an appropriate value.

14:[Changed] The nozzle check L pattern was print twice to make it easier to see.

15:[Changed] When using US61 ink, the print quality is no good when the head gap is large, so this has been improved.

16:[Changed] The operation of daily maintenance and CR maintenance has been improved.
- The carriage movement speed was dangerously fast, so it has been slowed down.
- If the cover is not opened after daily maintenance is performed and 30 seconds is left unattended, only the CR will be moved to the home position, shortening the time it takes to rerun the maintenance.

17:[Added] A parameter for the "UV control" PM command to enable high-gloss printing.
By selecting a dedicated profile from VerteLith, the printing conditions required for high-gloss printing, including the above PM command, are automatically set.

Add:

The MOT-LED Cont board has been updated to RevE. This revision was needed to avoid that the lamp would not switch OFF when the emergency button is pressed. Version 1.03 is needed to process correctly boards from RevE. It can also control MOT-LED boards fromolder revisions than E.

Bug Fix:

If ink was discharged from both heads, but head rank was entered for only one head, it could not be printed.

After canceling the media set and performing CR maintenance, the carriage collided with the linear guide rail cover.
When printing the adjustment ALL in self-diagnostic mode with a short media length, printing stopped halfway through.

Bug Fix:

If the "ink charge"-process is interrupted due to a cover open or an error, the ink charging process will be interrupted and the ink will be considered to have been filled, even if the ink has not reached the print head. So, if the process is interrupted during ink charge, suction will resume for the remaining time once the error is removed. It was fixed so that ink charging completes correctly.
If the ink in the ink adapter runs out during ink charging and the ink end pin is detected, the ink end was not detected. This is now fixed.
To avoid White nozzle missing during continuous printing, the conditions for spitting White ink at the start of the printing have been reviewed to improve nozzle stability.
Even though the S/C error log is recorded, no error is displayed on the self-diagnosis mode -> inspection -> history -> S/C log. This is now fixed.
After setting the media, when printing was started with the suction fan temporarily stopped using the foot switch, the printing started with the suction fan stopped.
If printing is interrupted by the cancel key on the operation panel towards the end of printing, the machine may hang with "Cancelling" displayed. This is now fixed.

Add:

When repairing a machine, it is necessary to cap out the carriage. However, if an error occurs during the initial sequence, it cannot be capped out.
The cap-out function in self diagnosis mode has been changed to work without an initial action.
If ink is left in the waste ink bottle for a long time, components of the ink may settle and the waste ink may not be able to be discharged. A message has been added to drain the ink every 7 days even if the waste ink tank is not full.
The "UC" (UV control) command of the PM command has been improved.
"-3 to -5 (weakens the UV lamp illuminance)" has been added to the options for the second parameter of the *UC command.
When the following error occurs, the printer status is saved to provide hints for investigating the cause.

Changes:

When the left arrow key on the panel was pressed from the Ready to print state, one type of nozzle check was printed.
Changed so that you can select between nozzle check and nozzle check B.
When the ink status "[**] Check color" message was displayed, the status LED on the panel was lit green. However, "[**] Check color" is an error state. Therefore, it has been changed to a red status LED.
Even though the S/C card LED was blinking (near end), the message "Ink Low" was not displayed on the panel.
The message "Ink Low" is now displayed on the panel when the S/C card LED blinks (near end).
Print quality may deteriorate if the material has an uneven surface.
Added the ability to print at 50% carriage speed to improve image quality.
Note:
When this function is set, the printing direction is fixed to uni-direction.
This function is setting through the panel menu, MSM, and Print Manager commands(*CV).
In the Self-diagnosis mode ==> Adjustment ==> Uni/Bi Low ==>BiD xxx VSDx ==>Print2/Print3 , the adjustment pattern has been changed.
The ink charging process in self-diagnosis mode has been changed to the same process as in user mode.
If the obstacle sensor reacts during daily maintenance, the daily maintenance process was interrupted.
If the obstacle sensor reacts during daily maintenance, a message to confirm the obstacle will be displayed, and you can continue the work by pressing the Enter key.
A head height adjustment menu has been added to the mechanical adjustment menu to check and adjust the head height.
The operation process of laser adjustment in self-diagnosis mode has been changed.
The process has returned to the same routine as in Ver1.00.
Some messages during the initial filling process have been changed: "Longstore" ==>"WashPrintHead"
The print result of [Print -> Error History] in self-diagnosis mode has been adjusted to fit within A3 size.
If an obstacle was detected during printing and the print was canceled when capping in, a "Media height Error" was displayed. Cancellations and errors are now displayed separately.
The lifetime of the dustproof cover was controlled using one parameter for four dustproof covers.
Changed to manage 4 locations individually.
The error judgment margin for E215 (UV SafeCtrl1) added in Ver1.03 was small.
The error judgment margin has been changed.
If an unexpected value is set during the obstacle sensor-adjustment in self-diagnosis mode, the procedure has been changed to readjust it.

Fixed freezing and abnormal ejection during printing (by reviewing the printer's internal memory allocation)

Emergency mode E096 error (if the memory allocation is incorrect E096 will be displayed). This measure will prevent the printer from getting into a "freezing" state by placing it in a "system error" state.
